Tinks is still waiting for a home to call her own. She is about 7 months old, 40lbs. and we expect her to stay under 55lbs. She is fully vetted, crate trained and oh, how sweet she is! She really squeals! Wants to let you know how happy she to see you. (Don't you wish people could be so happy to see you come through the door?) She is still a puppy and you have to be prepared for puppy things to happen. She loves to romp and play with other dogs, so a home with a safe fenced yard is ideal. She only has accidents in the house if she gets too excited and will make a teeny little tinkle spot. This is a submissive behavior that pups do. And it is something they grow out of eventually and she is doing just that. She also needs a person that understands she is a submissive dog and that she might be afraid of new situations. So, a kind, gentle, patient human is needed to help her adjust. It will take more than an hour to acclimate to a new living situation. Tinks is sweet, loving, playful, and has no aggression at all. She’s just a little shy about new things. Please keep in mind that if you think every dog should be like Lassie and just fit right in to a new home from a shelter or rescue -- well, it just doesn't work that way. You have to build a relationship and earn the respect and trust of your new dog. It takes time and consistency. If you are ready for a young, eager and happy to please dog who needs some tender loving care and you would like to adopt Tinks, go to https://hollowcreekfarm.org/how-to-adopt/ and fill out an application.
