Carlos Moogoya was rescued in 2007 from a farm that was raising him as veal for eating.
Carlos had been held in a tight, body-surrounding, confined pen, unable to walk, run, lie down or play, and force fed to grow only for human consumption.
Veal calves are taken at birth and force fed for the sole purpose of softening them, fattening them for people to eat.
But Hollow Creek Farm brought Carlos home and he was a part of our education program to teach people about inhumane farming practices. R.I.P. Carlos.
